Our Family
The Popp family is no stranger to the butcher industry. Barbara's family has been in the meat business her entire life. Her father owned Sal's Meat Market in Massapequa, a renowned business that is now run by her brother.
Barbara's brother trained Lenny as a butcher before the Popps moved to Babylon, purchased the store and renamed it Babylon Village Meat Market. Lenny and Barbara moved to Babylon Village right after their marriage and began working at the Meat Market. They quickly became known for their quality service, both in the community and in business.
